Eric O’Neill
Eric O’Neill is a practicing attorney who specializes in counterintelligence and counterterrorism operations, investigations into economic espionage, internal investigations and security risk assessment consulting. Mr. O’Neill served as an operative for the F.B.I., where he conducted national security field operations against terrorists and foreign intelligence agents. His role in the investigation and capture of the most notorious spy in United States history, Robert Phillip Hanssen, became the subject of Universal Studio’s movie Breach, released to critical acclaim in 2007.
Mr. O’Neill has broad legal experience in the areas of homeland security, border protection, risk and liability mitigation for anti-terrorism technologies, national security related matters and federal investigations of United States citizens and foreign nationals. Mr. O’Neill has provided counsel and litigation services on a range of legal and investigative matters, including due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, procurement fraud, internal investigations of companies and employee corruption cases. Mr. O’Neill is an accomplished public speaker who lectures internationally about security issues.
Charles Pinck
Charles Pinck has directed complex investigations on behalf of Fortune 500 corporations and leading law firms throughout the world. Mr. Pinck has held positions as a political consultant, staff member of U.S. Senate and presidential campaigns, and director of operations and senior vice president of investigations for strategic advisory and investigative companies. His articles have appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Security Management, Corporate Counsel, and Legal Times. Mr. Pinck has given presentations to the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
He serves as president of the Office of Strategic Services Society, a charitable organization that educates the American public about the historic contributions of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), America’s first organized effort to implement a centralized system of strategic intelligence during World War II, and the forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency and US Special Operations Forces.
Ed Mullen
Ed Mullen is a campaign and Capitol Hill veteran who specializes in corporate investigations, strategic communications, public relations support, competitive intelligence and due diligence. Prior to joining The Georgetown Group, Mr. Mullen was the Research Director for a national political committee where he provided opposition research, communications strategies, crisis management and high-impact media placement in national print, broadcast, cable and new media for over 70 targeted congressional races.
Mr. Mullen has served in House Leadership staff on Capitol Hill for over a decade working in the Office of the Majority Leader, Office of the Majority Whip, House Conference, and Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He has extensive government, campaign and media experience.
John Neumann
John Neumann has extensive experience on Capitol Hill and has conducted due diligence and competitive intelligence investigations for a wide variety of clients including Fortune 500 companies, national political campaigns, law firms, and international consortiums. Mr. Neumann is a veteran of dozens of political campaigns and was a managing director at a national political campaign committee. He also served for several years as an aide to the Chairman of the House International Relations Committee. Mr. Neumann has trained political parties and developed democracy programs in Southeast Asia and the Korean peninsula. Prior to his arrival in Washington, D.C., Mr. Neumann lived in Japan for four years working in education and the export trade. While in Japan, he trained with the Japanese Air Force in martial arts and rose to the rank of black belt in Shotokan karate.
