Charles T. Pinck has directed complex investigations on behalf of Fortune 500 corporations and law firms throughout the world over the course of his twenty-year career and serves as president of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) Society.

He began his career specializing in opposition research for a political consulting firm and has worked as a staff member of U.S. Senate and Presidential campaigns. He played a significant role in the creation of the Detective Information Network, an innovative investigative agency that was among the first companies to use the Internet for investigative purposes. He was director of operations and senior vice president of investigations for Washington, DC strategic advisory and risk management firms and has held senior-level positions with leading investigative companies.

His articles have appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Security Management, Corporate Counsel, Corporate Security, and Legal Times. Mr. Pinck has also developed numerous presentations for the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners conferences (ACFE).

Mr. Pinck is president of the Office of Strategic Services Society, a nonprofit organization that educates the American public about the historic contributions of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), America’s first organized effort to implement a centralized system of strategic intelligence during World War II, and the forerunner of the Central Intelligence Agency and US Special Forces. He is a coauthor of Stalking the History of the Office of Strategic Services.
